Our School

Inver Grove Heights Middle School (IGHMS) serves about 800 students across grades 6, 7, and 8. Our dedicated team of educators are passionate about teaching and committed to fostering the success of every student. IGHMS uses the AVID system to provide rigor in all of its classes. In 2018, our school earned the rare designation of AVID National Demonstration School based on our commitment to best practices that help all students experience rigor and grow. We also support students in their social-emotional development as they navigate this unique time in their lives. IGHMS creates a bridge between elementary school and high school that encourages students to look forward and develop the skills for lifelong success.
