IGHMS PTSA

PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) sponsors many activities and events for the students and staff at IGH Middle School including student parties, staff appreciation, mini-grants for teacher requests, technology for our classrooms, and much more.

Mission

The PTSA will act as an organization to assist in the following key points:

  • To support educational programs and activities that benefit students, school staff, and parents.
  • To be an additional branch of communication between school and home.
  • To encourage parent, school, and student involvement in our school and community.
  • To promote our organization and school in a positive light to the community.

PTSA-sponsored Events & Programs

  • 6th-grade party in the fall
  • 7th/8th combined grade party in spring
  • Staff meal during each set of parent-teacher conferences
  • Activities and prizes for teachers during Teacher Appreciation week in May in collaboration with staff
  • Supports the school, staff, and administration with monetary donations on an as needed and as requested basis as much as financially possible

Join the PTSA any time during the school year! Only dues-paying members are able to vote on issues that are brought to the PTSA. We encourage you to attend the meetings so we can have a strong PTSA for our middle school. 

PTSA Membership Form

To join, print out and complete the PTSA Membership Form. Send it to the IGHMS Main Office along with $10 in an envelope addressed to “PTSA.” Your membership helps the national, state, and the local PTSA. Thank you!

Angel Fund

Families no longer in need of their child's meal account can transfer remaining funds to the ISD 199 Angel Fund. This fund covers the negative balances of students in need.

If you would like to transfer funds, please complete the Angel Fund Donation Form.
